Leanne is the Unit Manager of Community and Wellbeing at the City of Marion. Leanne has over 15 years of experience in a senior leadership position including as a CEO and clinician in the health, disability and aged care sectors. In addition, Leanne is an experienced Clinical Trial and behavioural study researcher in hearing and cochlear implants. Leanne was a Paediatric Research Audiologist at the National Acoustic Laboratories and a Clinical Trial researcher at NextSense in Sydney.
Leanne is particularly interested in the relationship between permanent (sensorineural) hearing loss and diabetes and reducing the incidence and prevalence of diabetes within the community.
