2015 Christmas Appeal

Making a positive difference to the lives of people affected by diabetes.

2015-Christmas-Appeal

2015-Christmas-Appeal-cookbookDiabetes SA has been delivering services and support to people living with diabetes since 1953. Whether it is for a young child newly diagnosed with diabetes, a mother to be, or an adult, we aim to make a positive impact. We're here to help.

If it wasn't for the generous support of people like you we would not be able to continue to provide our much valued services and support such as our Children's and Teen Camps.

The impact to children attending these camps cannot be underestimated, for some children it is a life changing experience. "I am the same as everyone else" was the feedback from one of the children who attended camp recently. It was such a powerful and moving comment and reinforces just how essential Diabetes SA camps are.

Diabetes SA provides hundreds of education sessions annually, in addition to seminars which are held across the state every year. As some of our education attendees summed up... "Knowledge is power" and "Excellent information – I have increased my knowledge regarding looking after myself better and am more aware of diabetes complications now".

For those that cannot attend in person, we are only a phone call away and our dedicated health professionals provide advice and support over the phone.

This Christmas we are seeking your generous support and invite you to make a gift to the Diabetes SA 2015 Christmas Appeal.

Please help us continue our work and support people living with diabetes.

This Christmas Appeal, all donations of $60 or more will receive a Celebrations Cookbook.
