Stefanie Scherwitzel at the 2015 GHF Australian Age Championships

stefIn 2015, we continue to follow Stefanie's success as in previous years. Stef was competing at the 2015 GHF Australian Age Championships from 13/04/2015 to 20/04/2015 and we were lucky to have updates about her journey, starting with her first training days and day 1 of competition when Stef swam a PB time of 27:06secs in the 17/18 yo girls 50m free.

In the 200m final Stef swam again, finishing 9th overall inspite of feeling a hypo coming on during the race and having blurred vision going into the 150m turn.

Stef finished the Championships with 3 PBs from 5 events, made 2 finals (top 10 in the age group) and raised her Aust ranking in every event. Congratulations!
