Give your diabetes care a kick start

kick-startAt least once a year it is beneficial to have a look at how you are managing your diabetes care. Ask yourself; are you where you want to be? Are there some things you could be doing differently? Here are some ideas which may help you.

Can you answer Yes or No to the following?

  1. Are you happy with your general health?
  2. Do you ever stop and think how you look after your diabetes?
  3. Have you had an adult health check up in the past year?
  4. Have you touched base with a Diabetes Educator to catch up on the latest recommendations?
  5. Are you aware of the goals of management that guide your diabetes care?

Stay informed, talk about your diabetes, check your meter, review your physical activity, look at your diet, have an annual check-up... Give your diabetes care a kick start!
